As we enter 2006 it seems a good time to take stock of where procurement is on its journey towards becoming a fully recognised and respected function within the corporate landscape.
So who better than Andy Kyte of Gartner Research to present a considered view of where we are at the beginning of the second half of the new decade?
Generally the news is good. Procurement, Kyte says, is hot and many young graduates are opting to go into the profession. But it’s not all good news according to Kyte.
